Abstract

In theses emphasize the importance of developing the skills and abilities of primary school students to work with textual information, which leads to the consideration of this problem on the basis of a differentiated approach in the context of competency-based learning. The concepts of "work with the text" and "work on the text" are considered, their correlation is outlined. The essence of the concepts "differentiation", "differentiated", "differentiation of learning", "differentiated work" is clarified. It is noted that the problem of outlining the theoretical foundations of differentiated work of primary school students on the text requires a deep and thorough study. It is advisable to carefully consider the concept of "text" and narrow the research problem in accordance with the specifics of the text.
