Abstract
Personality-oriented approach to teaching children with visual impairments in the general educational space, as the specifics of education and upbringing of children with visual impairments is manifested in the specific features of development, reliance on preserved analyzers and opportunities to use special forms and methods in work, redistribution the pace of its study, the use of special manuals, typhoon devices. The manual includes psychodiagnostic techniques for children with visual impairments and personality-oriented technologies to support them, which allows practitioners to use them in their own educational and correctional work. In the methodological part of psychological and pedagogical support of development of children with visual impairments is preceded by a theoretical part, which substantiates each position, analyzing in detail and revealing the phenomenon of psychological and pedagogical support as a personality-oriented technology. Attention is paid to early intervention in the process of psychosocial development of a child with visual impairment, as it is known that visual deprivation has a negative effect on the child's development, disrupting its interaction with the outside world, and, accordingly, the earlier timely professional care is provided. evolve. The manual "Personality-oriented technologies for teaching children with visual impairments in the general education space" will be useful for both practitioners and scientists, as well as students of the first, second and third levels of higher education.
