Abstract

The issues of using ontology in library science as a means of integrating electronic resources are considered. The possibility of using methods and technologies of ontologies to create metadata is considered, which will improve the accuracy of automatic processing of metadata to a sematic level. The use of ontological modeling to create formalized electronic models of knowledge.
