Abstract

In the context of a historian-retrospective study of the state educational policy carried out in independent Ukraine, an analysis of the contribution of the former Minister of Education of Ukraine Ivan Vakarchuk to the modernization of the Ukrainian secondary school is proposed. The most significant areas of its activities are highlighted, associated with the continuation of previous educational and political initiatives, and with the start of new projects (initiation of the development of documents on the development of inclusive education in general education institutions, the introduction of pre-profile training of students, the expansion of Ukrainianization of schools, the development of the development of electronic textbooks)
