Abstract

The author's vision of ways of modernizing historical and pedagogical research is proposed due to the introduction of such an interdisciplinary strategy as imagology into their methodological tools. It has been substantiated that pedagogical texts not only reflect certain ethnocultural Ukrainian ideas about the education and socialization of children and youth, but also “work” on the formation of their image (image) through the interpretation prism of their attitude to education as a component of culture.
