Abstract

Entrepreneurial competence is recognized as one of the key competences. It implies realization of students' ability to correlate their own economic interests and needs with available resources, interests and needs of other people and society, etc. The developers of the textbooks of a new generation faced the task of motivating a student not only on the subject area, but also on the realization of the vital interests of an individual. Under these conditions, the task of creating a motivating context for a textbook is to foreground: a set of factors that can influence the development of entrepreneurial competence of the students. In order for a textbook of economics to become a source of motivation for development of entrepreneurial competence of the students, it should contain positive orientations on assimilation of the economic education content, provide the main types of motivation to entrepreneurship.
