Abstract

The article considers the main categories and concepts that characterize the quality of education: definitions of "quality of education", "quality of training of future professionals", "pedagogical measurements", "control", "evaluation", "diagnosis", "testing", " tests ", their components are systematized and detailed. A comparison of these concepts is made, the connection and differences between them are determined. The characteristic of types and forms of control, estimation, testing is given, features of use of means of quality control of professional education in high school practice are revealed.
