Abstract

The content of the article is devoted to determining the features of the selection of language units of the phonological level at the initial stage of learning Hebrew. The article identifies the features of the initial stage of learning Hebrew, identifies the elementary sound units at the phonological level, analyzes the typology of the composition of the Hebrew language in comparison with the Ukrainian language and identifies elementary sound units that are both linguistically and methodologically most useful for teaching.
