Abstract

Formulation of the problem. Understanding of essence of process formation of competences is impossible without clarifying the peculiarities of the educational-cognitive activity in the context of the competence approach to learning. Its main types are updating the objectives, structure and content of training, the choice of forms, the implementation of a comprehensive educational assessment, measurement and evaluation of educational results through the prism of formation of key and subject competencies, adjustment and further design of learning activities. In recent decades there has been a significant strengthening of the importance of competence orientation school physics course, where one of the leading roles belongs to problem solving. However, a significant portion of the students have some difficulties, because it does not own the relevant practical skills. Approach of tasks is an important component of content and procedural learning basic physics course. Understanding of meaning and appropriate technology for its implementation is now undergoing significant changes. The article substantiates the role and place of basic course of physics in the system of competence-oriented education of College students, highlights the main methods and ways of their solution. The attention is focused that in the process of solving systematically carried out ideological and methodological generalizations, takes into account the needs of society, knowledge of the history of physics, the value of the mathematical transformations etc. Materials and methods. Theoretical methods: analysis, systematization and generalization of results of pedagogical researches, laws and regulations documents empirical methods: pedagogical supervision over educational process, questioning; statistical methods. Results. Adapted of task learning technology in the formation of student competence. Carried out diagnostics of development components of the competencies of the students in the process of solving competence oriented tasks. Summarizes the topics of the benefits «Job to verify subject matter competence of students in physics (7-9)» and «Methodology of the competence-oriented physics teaching students of the school». Conclusions. Knowledge of different ways of solving a competence oriented task the basic physics course contributes to the effective formation of concepts, versatile, durable and a deeper understanding of the content of teaching material, acquisition of practical abilities and skills to apply physical laws and regularities, creates conditions for the realization of the competence approach in education.
