Abstract
The presented materials are the result of approbation of specially created didactic poems for children learning Hebrew at the initial stage. This material describes specific examples of working with these rhymed texts and will help the teacher in teaching practice. Poems are easy to memorize, include a lexical and grammatical minimum, are compiled on the basis of a thematic-situational principle in teaching, correspond to age-specific psychological characteristics, and are similar in content to preschool and primary school children. The inclusion of these poems in the learning process will help to master such lexical topics “Me and my family”, “Me and my friends”, “Me and my toys”, “I am at school”, “Nature around me”, “Jewish holiday - Shabbat” , "Jewish dances" and other topics of personal, educational and social spheres of communication. Material of the article in Russian.
