Abstract
The article is focused on the study of the organizational culture of the teacher as an important factor of effective interaction with the students in the educational process. The author defines the organizational culture of the teacher of higher school as an integrative concept, a set of values, beliefs, norms of behavior, the synthesis of educational, civic and personal qualities and competencies of the teacher, necessary for the successful organization of educational process at higher school. The author found that there are a number of new approaches to understanding the phenomenon of organizational culture, which are connected with the study of the organizational culture of the teacher (educator). A teacher at higher school must be a person of high organizational culture to educate students to be cultured people and to promote their creative self-development. The higher the organizational culture of the teacher, the more effective it affects the content and nature of communication with students and raising them to the cultural norms of behavior, values, traditions, rituals and symbols that are important in the formation of organizational culture of the university.
