Abstract
The article deals with the structural and substantive essence of pedagogical activity of the head of the institution of education, analyzes the socio-pedagogical characteristics of the teacher-leader personality, describes various types of his pedagogical activity, identifies the features of the personal and professional pedagogical orientation of the teacher-leader. It is proved that an important manifestation of the professional pedagogical competence of the head of the educational institution as a teacher is the ability to analyze pedagogical activity, to determine a new level of the state of education and upbringing of students, to position new pedagogical goals. The opportunity to monitor the dynamics of self-improvement, self-education, professional growth of teacher-supervisor, to compare teacher's self-esteem with the assessment of his activities by the pedagogical staff of the school, to put forward specific methodological tasks, the solution of which ensures the development of professional pedagogical activities of the head and teacher. The main tasks of the teacher-supervisor are represented – to direct the activities of the pedagogical and student groups to improve the quality of school education by means of the development of organizational culture. The article convincingly proved that modern pedagogy should admit that the purpose of education is the entry of the paternal into the cultural space and active its assimilation, the creation of new cultural values. This process takes place in a cultural and educational environment in which the cooperation of the subjects of the educational environment is possible, without which the environment can not be considered as a cultural one. The resources of a truly cultural environment, according to many researchers, are inexhaustible. Consequently, when designing the development of an educational institution, managers should ensure that their culture corresponds.
