Abstract

The manual analyzes the features of education and upbringing of parents, family members as a category of adult learners. Conceptual, theoretical, motivational and semantic aspects of education and upbringing of parents, family members are covered. Directions, methods, forms of organization of education and upbringing of parents, family members are stated; models of interaction between parents and educational institutions in the context of non-formal education. The essence of the process of parental pedagogy and its role in the development of the competence potential of adults is revealed. For pedagogical, scientific and pedagogical workers of educational institutions of different types, social pedagogues, social workers, parents and family members of preschool, general secondary education, scientists.
