Abstract

Ecologically safe behavior in a healthy educated society is the norm of life and communication in society and a criterion for assessing the quality of life. Based on field research, the author testifies that, unfortunately, in Ukraine today, environmental ignorance and fraud is a natural phenomenon. It was formed against the background of general ecological illiteracy, declining level of general scientific awareness of teachers, politicization of social interaction processes at the local level, dominance of information space by low-quality information products, extremely strong socio-economic stratification and, as a consequence, general crisis of meanings.
