Abstract
The article analyzes statistical data in order to develop a method of forming the rhetorical skills of upper secondary school pupils. The author took into account the psychological characteristics of this category of students and their self-assessment. The author considers the self-assessment of upper sekondary school pupils as a special level in the development of self-awareness, which determines the specifics of the attitude to themselves and to others.
