Abstract

The thesis substantiates the emergence of new integrated courses in the practice of Ukrainian schools, primarily due to the search for more modern and effective models of learning in the context of reforming school education, taking into account the European educational paradigm with its focus on competent oriented, personal and activity approaches. The essence of integration of language and literature, its methodological principles (in particular the principle of text-centrism, complex analysis of texts), forms of realization are revealed. The goals and objectives of the new integrated course, ways and means of forming communicative competence are defined
