Abstract
Blended learning is defined as a formal education program in which a student learns – at least in part – through online delivery of instruction and content, with some element of student control over time, place, path and/or pace. Research object is blended learning as an education program to be implemented in Ukraine. Research subject is blended learning models and their components. The approaches to the definition of blended learning have been analyzed in the article. The blended learning models, which are used to study abroad, are studied, and the principal components of success of blended learning, which should be considered for the improvement of the system of foreign language teaching in Ukraine.
