Abstract

In the theses it is actualized that the problem of formation of communicative competence at pupils of initial classes is one of important and actual in modern school. The content of the concept of "communicative competence" is considered in the work, the views of scientists on the mentioned problem are analyzed and, on the basis of interpretations of various researchers, the own definition is offered, which most fully reveals its essence. The abstracts also identify the most typical communication skills that should be formed in students in Ukrainian language lessons.
