Abstract

The role of vocational education in the formation of competitive, ready for successful long-term professionals is considered. The concepts of "competitiveness" and "competitiveness" are analyzed and the specialist's own interpretation of competitiveness as the ability to compete in the labor market and, accordingly, competitiveness - as the ability of the specialist to compete, ie the availability of relevant competencies and personal preferences. Measures have been proposed that will promote high-quality staff training, and the importance of developing independent activities and personal qualities in students of professional educational institutions has been emphasized.
