Abstract

The state of formation of reading competence of modern primary school graduates is revealed (according to the results of the Report of the Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment); analyzed and substantiated the negative factors influencing the effectiveness of students' performance of tasks on the understanding of artistic and informational texts; the dynamics of development of the category "reading competence" under the influence of active interaction of schoolchildren with electronic resources is shown.
