Abstract

ERIH is not a bibliographic or rating tool. According to experts, this database is one of the most important and prestigious indices in the European Union. ERIH PLUS is valued for its high quality and significant impact on the work of scientific journals in the humanities and social sciences. The developers of the system did not limit themselves to a simple filter and created a complete new ERIH PLUS database on the Dimensions platform, which allows users to find and analyze journals and materials published in various European languages, as well as track the number of citations, alternative metrics and some scientometrics. The ERIH PLUS database contains about 8 million publications. The requirements for including journals in the ERIH PLUS abstract are not very stringent, so many journal entries can be submitted with a limited list of fields, so no algorithm can find citations to these documents. Thus, in order for domestic scientific publications to be correctly indexed in Dimensions, Lens.org, OUC and others. database, editors need to more carefully create the most complete metadata. The inclusion of the publication in the ERIH PLUS index allows researchers around the world to use scientific materials published in the journal, increases the citation of the authors of the journal in the scientific works of scientists from different countries.
