Abstract

The article substantiates that the study of the elements of stochastics contributes to the realization that many laws of nature and society are probabilistic, that many real phenomena and processes are described by probabilistic models, which are studied using mathematical methods. Therefore, it is important to form a correct idea of ​​students about probability theory as a science, adhering to the principle of scientificity, to expand students' knowledge of mathematical models and teach them to build probabilistic models of stochastic experiments.
