Abstract

The article shows that here for the first time in Ukraine has created a special kindergarten for deaf children. So, in the conditions of special education, the educational process was formed at modern stages for that time achievements in the field of sign language education. It is emphasized that this is precisely what became the foundation for the formation and development of early education for deaf students. At the Kiev boarding school for deaf children No. 6, the pedagogical ideas of the sound teacher in the early twentieth century are embodied and improved.
