Abstract

Problem and purpose. Being an effective means of satisfying most material demands of mankind, the economy is unable to determine its goals. This problem is gaining its severity in the context of globalization and the crisis of traditional values, in particular, religious. Possible answers to questions about the ultimate goals of the modern economy can offer bioethics, however, it is considered mainly only in a utilitarian vein.
