Abstract
The article discloses the concept of emotions as one of the components of symbolic non-speech activity as part of higher mental functions; emphasized the importance of emotions for human life; emphasized the importance of emotions for human life; the physiological mechanism of emotions is revealed; reflected the specifics of simple and complex emotions; the hierarchy of the ontogenetic development of the emotional-volitional sphere in children at different age periods is described; the intellectual, categorical, communicative-pragmatic, comparative, psycholinguistic and structural-semantic facets of emotions in normative development are outlined; psychological features of children with speech disorders are highlighted; the activity-communicative aspect of emotions is highlighted as an important combination of practical, effective, nominative and semantic expression for the full communication of children with speech impairments; author's developmental psychotechnology is represented in the form of the “Phonetic-emotional alphabet” and a fragment of the emotional-volitional and value-semantic development program for first-graders with severe speech impairments.
