Abstract
The article raises the problem of the essence of competence in the educational field. Teachers, psychologists and the administration of secondary schools do not have the tools to implement the formation of students' competencies, despite the fact that the task is presented to them. There is no model for introduction of competence-oriented learning, there is no student's personality structure, a program of exploring student’s natural abilities and taking into account his/her own values and views in the educational process. In the scientific literature, even the definition of competence is discrepancy. The author of the article tries to implement the foundations of psychological research in pedagogical practice, to determine their role and place in competently oriented education. Experiment results allow the teacher to make a knowledgeable and personal characteristic for each student. This will allow him/her to explore his/her ability to learn new material, memorization, learning and self-education. The availability of creative abilities and their variations can be used in the preparation for a lesson, and the search for new forms and teaching methods. The direction of personality will help in the construction of the concept of educational work. The author is sure that the psychological component of the educational system of forming competencies is important and a core of this process as a whole. On this basis, pedagogical diagnostics can be constructed, and new educational technologies for a new school can be created. The article proposes one of the test methods of psychological qualities of students as a scientific toolkit. The test results are presented and can help to create a psychological portrait of the student. Characteristics that can be obtained can be used both individually and in groups or in a complex. Knowing the values of the students, the accentuation of their characters and the orientation of the individual, the teacher can help the student in the development of his/her initiative on the path to successful socialization. The direction of intelligence and discovered creative abilities are used in the compilation of pedagogical characters for formation of objective competencies. The definition of the structure and interest map provides material for developing a vocational guidance and professional selfdetermination of students. In this article, the psychological component of competence-oriented education is defined the first time, and its important role is shown. The author's research on this topic continues and will be further shown in scientific publications.
