Abstract

The article is devoted the essence, directions and features of implementation of PR in the system by the management of schools of different types and forms of ownership. There are presented the main differences between advertising activity and public relations in the article. It has been established that a set of public relations tools has been in place for many decades. The tools of public relations have evolved over many decades. They are almost equally used to work in all public spheres, but PR in education distinguish their own specific capabilities. This capabilities are caused by the use of the principles of adaptive management of the schools and use of the project activities in them. There are given the successful examples of co-operation and communication between schools and their public in the framework of project activities.
