Abstract
Attention is focused on the need to use innovative, including test, technology for assessing the educational achievements of applicants for education in order to improve not only their subject preparation, but also to create fairness and responsibility for learning outcomes.The results of the study of the level of teacher competency in the application of test technologies for assessing educational achievements are presented. The necessity of introducing special training for educators on the basics of pedagogical measurements is substantiated by including in the master's educational programs of full-fledged educational disciplines “Fundamentals of Testology”, “Pedagogical Measurements”, and in the postgraduate education system, conducting trainings and special courses on these issues.
