Abstract
The publication focuses on the essence and tools of marketing communications of the educational institution. Emphasis is placed on the need to manage the marketing communications of an educational institution. It is emphasized on the necessity of forming the readiness of education managers to marketing communications management in the conditions of the magistracy through introduction of a complex of disciplines of free choice of students. The experience of the University of Educational Management is described. This is selective courses «Marketing Management of Educational Establishments» , «Fundamentals of Medialiteracy», «Event Creation and Information Support», « Public Relations in Schools» etc
