Abstract
Four integrated content lines are highlighted in foreign language curricula for expressing key competences. Their formation in the gymnasium is carried out taking into account the experience of the students gained by them in primary school. The prerequisite for ensuring the quality of foreign language education is the principle of continuity and succession between primary and basic schools in the formation of key competences and integrated content lines.
