Abstract
At the present stage of modernization of elementary school, changes are being made to textbooks, as it is an important tool in the educational process. Thus, in accordance with the new State Standard for Primary, New Model Curricula, new generation textbooks are being created, both integrated and in separate subjects. They correspond to the educational situation in the country: a regulatory framework has been developed, the state standard of education has been introduced, the model “education for life”, ie the application of knowledge and skills in life, the development of critical thinking of students, etc., have been recognized as a priority.
