Abstract
This article raises the problem of formation of professional competence of students - the future teachers in the segments of their profile preparation. The basis of the study put the problem conceptually the idea of replacing the traditional learning by teaching as a result of the acquisition process and individual professional experience. The task of "learning to learn" in the university is transformed into the plane of the problem to "learn to think professionally and professionally to act." The purpose of learning have not knowledge, and the means of practicing a profession, accompanied by professional knowledge and skills.
