Abstract

The theoretical and methodological foundations of adult education are presented. The conclusion is made about the necessity of development of adult education cs an integrated system, reproducing guarantees and rights of every citizen of the country for continuing education throughout life. This education should focus on human values, ideals of humanism; harmonize the interests of the individual and society, and also to make the education accessible to all segments of the population, creating the objective conditions for the maximum development of the personality, realization of personal potential of all opportunities that will promote successful adaptation to changing social and economic conditions, and social security adult.
