Abstract
The article shows that it is impossible to implement the tasks aimed at improvement of the educational process efficiency on a competent basis without the use of non-standard forms at the present stage of reforming of school education. The didactic possibilities of modern education in groups are substantiated, taking into account the modernization processes in the domestic school education. The attention is focused on the fact that group learning can create optimal educational environment for learning activities of students of specialized schools, for development of intellectual, creative abilities of the individual and, thereby, increase levels of achievement in geography and economics. It is stated that today, the formation of economic knowledge is a relevant direction of psychological and pedagogical research in the context of the structure and content of the New Ukrainian school. The article analyzes the current state of the use of technology of group educational activity at high school specializing in education of students in subjects of economic direction. The fact is established that the technology of group educational activity harmoniously fits into the educational process of the specialized education in economic subjects and has a number of advantages in comparison with other forms of organization of the educational school process. The reasons for the unsystematic use of the investigated innovative pedagogical technology are determined. The root of these reasons lies in the fact that teachers are not sufficiently familiar with the methodology of group educational activity at the scientific level, and students are not properly prepared for educational work in groups. It is found that teachers occasionally resort to the creation of small educational groups of students without taking into account the conditions for the group formation created by certain group dynamics, namely: the desire of group members to cooperate with each other. The results of ascertaining and forming stages of pedagogical research are published. The effectiveness of the technology of group learning during lessons of geography and economics in the conditions of implementation of the competence approach is experimentally proved.
