Abstract
The article analyzes the problem of organizing and carrying out monitoring research on the quality of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education. It is determined that the relevance of implementation of measures for continuous monitoring and assessment of needs (expectations) of consumers of educational services, ensuring continuous opportunity to obtain quality education at all its levels, making management decisions based on a compromise option of interaction with stakeholders. An analysis of the views of scientists on monitoring the quality of education as a component of the quality assurance system, in particular, monitoring the quality of professional development. It is found out that monitoring researches allow solving actual problems on building of multilevel information systems; monitoring of the actual state of the educational system of a certain level and its constituents or any process in education; comprehensive and diverse study of objects; analysis and forecasting of this trend of further development. The aim is to define and describe the stages of organization and monitoring of the quality of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education. The principles, structure and sequence of stages according to the technology of organization and carrying out of monitoring research in the field of quality of education are determined. Algorithm for carrying out monitoring researches on the quality of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education has been clarified. In particular, it reveals the essence of such stages as goal setting and planning of the study, selection of monitoring tools, activities: conducting of research studies, analytical, corrective and informative. The expediency of the mentioned researches in the institutions of the postgraduate education system to increase the quality of professional development of specialists and to gain stable positions in the market of educational services is confirmed.
