Abstract

The guide is based on the main principles of inclusive education. The publication contains information about the periodization and prospects of teaching children with special needs; the manual outlines the latest approaches to teaching children with special educational needs and strategies for successful implementation of inclusive practices. The authors take into account current trends in the education of children with special needs in Ukraine and international best practices. The textbook provides effective technologies for teaching children in an inclusive classroom; methodological recommendations for adaptation of the learning environment; methodical techniques that allow to provide the educational needs of students in the inclusive conditions of the institution of general secondary education; tips to help improve inclusive practices. The manual is addressed to teachers of general secondary education institutions, teaching staff, teaching assistants, students of pedagogical training courses, students of pedagogical universities, parents of children with special educational needs, IRS specialists, social services workers.
