Abstract

The principle of the master class: I know how to do it, I'll teach you. A master class is a form of effective active learning. It differs from the seminar in that in the master class a leading specialist (hereinafter referred to as a teacher) tells and demonstrates how to apply a new technology or method in practice. to the teacher. The actions of the teacher are interconnected, original, which ensures that the tasks are accomplished effectively. Features of the teacher's work system are integrity, optimality in determining the place and time of each methodical use, originality of the method. The master class provides the formation of motivational and cognitive needs of students in a certain activity, stimulates cognitive interest. In the process of master classes the skills of planning, self-organization and self-control of pedagogical activity are developed. During the workshop, each student is approached individually, which results in positive learning outcomes. A master class is a form of organizing one's own work for active trainees using empirical teaching methods: observation, study of documents and results, testing, development of didactic materials for experimental work in their pedagogical activity.
