Abstract

The article highlights the problem of using ranking system of expert evaluation of external monitoring indicators of quality of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education. The approaches of scientists to defining the role of monitoring in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education are considered. It is found that the implementation of monitoring activities needs the development of appropriate algorithms and selection procedures, the analysis of quality indicators of professional development, the creation of information systems and adequate software. The role of stakeholders is outlined and it is found that engaging in the external quality assurance monitoring process of specialists provides an opportunity to determine the vectors for further development and increase information transparency. It is determined that the applied importance of expert evaluation of the quality monitoring indicators of professional development is connected not only with the need to attract specialists of the relevant profile, but also in general with the decision of the problems of continuous improvement of educational systems, oriented to professional and personal improvement and development of specialists, professional education, adaptation to the socio-economic conditions of the state, employers and participants in the educational process. The expediency of using the ranking system in conducting the procedure of expert evaluation of indicators of external quality monitoring of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education was determined. The ranking of the mentioned indicators is carried out and the degree of their significance is determined by the methods of the sum of ranks, median ranks, average rating is presented. The integral quality indicator is calculated on the basis of individual point’s values of individual indicators is proved. The results of the research of quality indicators of educational activity at the professional development courses in Bilotserkivsky Institute of Continuous Professional Education (BICPE) are presented. The positive dynamics of the quality of professional development of specialists in the field of vocational education in BICPE are determined.
