Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of professional preparation of students-future social workers for work with internally displaced children. The urgency of problems and needs of internally displaced children in overcoming the “consumer position” by means of training technologies is substantiated. The specifics and peculiarities of students' preparation for implementation of training technologies for internally displaced children are revealed. The key competencies of future social workers for the development of leadership of internally displaced children are highlighted. New directions of practical social work are considered as: “social leadership”, “leadership in social work”. The results of the analysis of scientific sources clarify the importance of the pedagogical model of reflective practice in interaction with clients of social work, modeling of effective leadership and situational concepts of leadership. Theoretical analysis of models of leadership competence is made. It is emphasized on the expediency of introducing the model of effective skills of the leader according to the concept of Stephen R. Kovey “dependence-independence-interdependence”. A summary of the tasks and content of «the Leader in Everyone» training program for internally displaced children has been provided. The list of important competences that internally displaced children will receive during the training program is defined. The importance of professional motivation and value orientation of students-future social workers for professional training of specialists has been clarified. The results of the study allow showing conclusions about the need for vocational training for the introduction and stimulation of leadership to practical interaction, especially, for internally displaced children through the implementation of training technologies.
