Abstract

The problem of human preparation for labour has become extremely relevant in science and practice in connection with the development of socio-economic relations in Ukraine at the new stage of personality, society and State. Today, there is a request for a professionally developed person who is able to solve complex industrial problems of regional and state level, ensuring social progress. The current situation regarding the solution of the problem is characterized by existing contribution as a basis for further searching and creation of a system of preparation for labour taking into account the personal and social significance. This requires adjustments in the past researches that relate to the harmonization of the psychological sphere of the individual with teaching educational and social influence. Recently, attention has been focused on cognitive (knowledge) preparation ignoring the operational and technological (activity) component of the рsychological sphere, which resulted in the tendency of gaining knowledge without the skilful implementing in practice. As a consequence of such organization of preparation for life and work, production of socially significant work product has been decreased. The paper is aimed at establishing the priority of factors directed at harmonizing the psychological sphere of personality, in the process of its formation at age-related stages, and the definition of the essence of preparation for labour in the public dimension. At the same time we recommend to build on understanding the essence of the components of a multilevel system of preparation for labour submitted in the form: nature and essence of man; humanitarian security; personality; labour; labour market; civil society; educational models and systems; productive forces; teacher’s consciousness, unity and patriotism; psychological experience; development, growth, maturation; competences; socio-professional development of personality. The author considered the problem using the following methods: analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical theoretical sources; studying and summarizing the experience of preparation to work; theoretical discourse, construction of a contextual scheme (regarding the process of preparing the person for labour) and the theoretical model with recommendation prescriptions. As a result of this: 1) the replacement of the existing knowledge-educational paradigm for socially professional with maximum personality activity, which will ensure its development and the opportunity to qualitatively and effectively solve the problem of preparation for labour in personal and social relation; 2) first developed the meaning of the concept of “socio-professional development of personality”.
