Abstract

The article reveals the contents of the examination of lexical competence in children with severe speech disorders of preschool and primary school age. Based on the psycholinguistic approach, the identification of the developmental features of the lexical side of speech is carried out for such basic criteria: the formation of the current level of lexical generalizations, morphological word formation systems and lexical systematic.
