Abstract

The article provides information on the current problem of the future new national school teacher’s professional culture formation. It is noted that today there is a low level of pedagogical professional culture formation of a large part of teachers, which combines the level of their general and professional development. The experience of training teachers shows that the level of professional culture is a significant indicator of future teacher’s readiness for professional activity in the national school of Ukraine. The level of pedagogical culture, which is the highest form of individual’s professional orientation, is an indicator of the future teacher’s readiness for professional activity in the new national school. It is noted that pedagogical culture is to be considered at 3 levels: as a culture of relations between state and education; as an indicator of cultural development level at the regional level; as a culture of a particular expert of education. A number of characteristics of pedagogical culture have been outlined, they are as follows: universal human qualities; professional qualities; moral qualities. One of the components of pedagogical culture is a teacher’s desire for self-improvement and selfeducation. The main factors determining an objective need to improve the content of the future national school teacher’s pedagogical culture in the context of the modern institution of higher education, and a number of difficulties in the practical solution of the problem of the future national school teacher’s pedagogical culture formation determined by objective factors have been destinguished. It is also mentioned about the system of conditions and means ensuring teachers’ effective pedagogical culture formation. It is emphasized that the high level of pedagogical culture is the foundation of the New Ukrainian School formation, the purpose of which is to educate an innovator and a citizen who is able to make responsible decisions and adheres to the human rights.
