Abstract
The methodical guide covers the pressing issues of building psychological and pedagogical technologies for assessing the development of different categories of children with special educational needs as a prerequisite for effective individually directed learning, upbringing and social integration. In particular, the expediency of using the method of psychological and pedagogical experiment along with psychometric means of studying the educational competences of children is substantiated. The system of psychological and pedagogical assessment of development of children with hyperactive disorder and attention deficit is outlined. Priority is substantiated and technology of diagnosing speech and communication needs of children with hearing impairment is outlined. A system of assessment of speech development of a child with severe speech impairment is proposed, which allows to determine physiological, cognitive and personal "supports" for constructing corrective measures. The technique of formation of symbolic-symbolic images in children with moderate intellectual developmental disorders in the context of development of vital competences and skills of practical life is presented. The necessity of psychological and pedagogical support of parents raising children with special educational needs is substantiated, tasks and ways of its realization, methods of diagnostic and advisory and educational work with parents are outlined. The manual is addressed to specialists of inclusive-resource centers, practical psychologists, pedagogical workers of educational establishments, and students of the relevant specialization.
