Abstract

Environmental education is becoming a priority of pedagogical theory and practice. This is due to the difficult situation on our planet: the rapid growth of the population and, consequently, the problem of its food supply, the supply of minerals to the industry, the problem of energy and, of course, the pollution of the environment - all these pose a threat to the existence of life on earth. One of the most important reasons for this condition is the environmental illiteracy of the population, the inability to predict the consequences of interference with nature.
