Abstract
The feasibility and the possibility of using a reading kind of reading in elementary school are substantiated. The peculiarities of the system of exercises and tasks for the 2 nd grade students are revealed as an important basis for the use of further reading and selective reading, namely: tasks for the development of mechanisms of visual perception, which include the development of gnostic and motor functions of vision, different properties of attention. The pedagogical conditions, which adherence is an important factor in the process of forming a reading type of reading, are outlined.
