Abstract
The article deals with empirical research into psychological features of the formation of future psychologists' ambiguity tolerance. The author analyzes some psychological characteristics that are important for the formation of ambiguity tolerance among future psychologists, in particular, the psychological correlates of the cognitive, affective and conative components. It has been found that the formation of the cognitive component of future psychologists' ambiguity tolerance is positively influenced by the reflexivity and awareness of the concepts of "ambiguity tolerance" and "ambiguity intolerance" and the conditions for its formation. The formation of the affective component of future psychologists' ambiguity tolerance is influenced by their positive attitudes towards ambiguity tolerance, positive emotions in ambiguous and contradicting situations. It has been shown that the psychological correlates of the conative component of future psychologists' ambiguity tolerance are characterized by both productive and unproductive coping strategies in ambiguous situations. There are positive correlations between the future psychologists' planning their decisions and acting with possibly full orientation in ambiguous situations and ambiguity tolerance, as well as between courage and adaptability and ambiguity tolerance. Besides, future psychologists' readiness to change and their productive ambiguous situation coping strategies have been found to positively correlate with future psychologists' willingness to take risks and face ambiguous situations. The psychological correlates, that have been found in the research, can be helpful for the formation of future psychologists' ambiguity tolerance.
