Abstract
The educational-methodical guide highlights the features of competently directed training and corrective-development work with children with intellectual disabilities in the educational space: question organizational methods, innovative teaching technologies and recommendations for their implementation in practice, the results of experimental studies on the issue of training and education of learners; questions the content and organization of psychological and educational support for learners with intellectual disorders. The presented technologies are based on a competent approach to the education of the child, taking into account the leading types of activity on the basis of improvement of cognitive, communicative-speech, psychomotor, personal spheres of development. The manual is addressed to specialists of special secondary education institutions and institutions with inclusive form of education, scientists, teachers and students of institutions of higher education; parents, all concerned with the problems of modern special pedagogy and psychology.
