Abstract

The author discloses the results of the experimental testing of the elective course "Methods and Means for Predicting the Development of General Secondary еducation", which is designed to prepare pedagogical staff to apply the methods and tools identified in the program for predicting the development of educational objects. In particular, the expediency of introducing an elective course in the educational process of postgraduate pedagogical institutions was confirmed education; describes the main structural components of the program (the interconnection of educational sectors and disciplines and the logical sequence of their study; the purpose, subject, requirements and expected learning outcomes of the trainees, the list and content of modules,volume of training load and form of organization of educational process) and conceptual, productive, informative, contextual, communicative competences that provide formation of professional competence of pedagogical staff in the process of teaching an elective course are revealed.
