Abstract
This article is devoted to the empirical study of the resilience characteristics of dentists. The urgency of the problem is due to the fact that professional stress in doctors is becoming more frequent, but most domestic studies analyze it in the context of emotional burnout and other professional deformations, while resources, including resistance, are not the subject of scientific and practical research. The article analyzes the notion of resilience as a result of understanding psychotraumatic experience, transformation of failures into personal growth and growth in interpersonal interaction by strengthening social ties, forming new relationships, using creativity and non-template in solving problems and finding a way out of a crisis situation. social resilience resources - family and friends. The possibilities of using the Connor-Davidson Questionnaire and the resilience Scale of C.Harms, J. A. Pooley, L.Cohen in the complex diagnostics of personal and social resilience of dentists are outlined. It is established that the investigated dentists have a sufficiently high level of resilience, which may be a factor in the prevention of their professional burnout.
