Abstract

This article is devoted to the results of the adaptation of the Ukrainian-language version of the International Trauma Questionnaire. The technique consists of two diagnostic parts, PTSD and PTSD, which cover three clusters of symptoms of the disorder - relapse of the traumatic event, avoidance of thoughts and feelings related to the trauma, and excessive feeling of threat (hyper-dust). Our research confirmed the possibility of using this questionnaire for the diagnosis of delayed PTSD, since before the test, the combatant indicates when a traumatic event occurred (from a day to 20 years ago). PTSD is diagnosed in the presence of PTSD criteria and in the absence of violations of self-organization, while for the complex - both the criteria of PTSD and indicators of impaired self-organization are important, with delayed PTSD the criteria of avoidance, intrusions and hyperpulse are expressed, but violations of self-organization are frequent. According to the results of the meta-analysis, it is established that delayed PTSD is provoked by numerous traumatic, stressful events in post-war life, that is, its occurrence is provoked by severe stresses, crises that occurred after a considerable time after the traumatic event, thus traumatic events of childhood practically do not cause it.
